How to read this
The per-transaction figures use each provider's published schedule: percentage + fixed fee, fee caps applied where published, and international-card surcharges when enabled. The monthly projection multiplies that by your transaction count and adds the provider's published base plan fee, which is where flat-rate and subscription-based processors trade places: a bank-debit rail with a cheap per-transaction fee can lose to a gateway with no monthly base once volume is low, and win big once it is high.
Choose how many providers to compare (2 to 5, or up to 3 on a phone), then pick each one from the dropdown at the top of its column. The best value in every row is ticked, and the others show how far behind they are. The "Cheapest per sale by size" line shows which provider wins at which sale size, because a low percentage with a high fixed fee wins on big sales and loses on small ones.
Providers with a published standard rate in the chosen currency use it automatically. Providers that price by custom quote are listed too, marked "(quote)": type the percentage, fixed fee and any monthly fee from your own quote or contract straight into that column. Click "Use my rate" on any provider to enter a negotiated rate instead. Rates you enter are labelled "Your quote", are not verified by Sympli5, and stay in your browser. Our own tables keep to our published-schedules-only policy.
Use Pop out to open the comparison in its own window, with your numbers carried over: the controls move to a bar across the top and the table gets the full width. To rank every provider for an amount at once, use the fee calculator.
